Disadvantages of Bleaching  Synthetic Hair

If you bleach your synthetic hair you break down the chemical structure of your synthetic hair wig and make it brittle and prone to breakage.

The chemical effect of bleach will cause the synthetic hair wig to lose the coating of protection applied to them leading to them being more susceptible to the chemical effects of salon treatments.

Alternative to Bleaching  Synthetic Hair

You can use henna as an alternative to bleaching as it offers a deep color that can last from 4 to 6 weeks and can give the same effect as bleaching your hair.

You can use semi-permanent dyes to give your synthetic hair a darker look and these dyes can last for 4 weeks and can be easily washed out with shampoo if you don’t like the look.

You can use hair styling products like hair sprays and gels on your synthetic hair wigs to change their look and style without bleaching it.
